Character mode Forms45 and mouse usage

Anyone,

We are using Oracle Forms45 in character mode on a Hp mini-computer accessing the application via a vt220 session.

Does any know if there is a way of using character mode session and allowing the mouse to move to different fields.

It seems an IBM3270 mode can use a mouse to move to differect fields to access a mainframe at our site. I've noticed some resource files that have ibm3270 in the names, so is it possible to access forms45 using an ibm3270 session. Or does another access type exist that allows mouse movement between fields?

Thanks
