I don't know if I can help you but until now I've got problems too.
Yesterday I've downloaded the new OCI-driver from Oracle and some of
my problems has gone (now I can read very large BFILEs out of the
database ... with the old driver the resources went out at a point in
time).


I've got the problem with the chunk-size too, but I can't help myself.
