Kill inactive cursors

Hello all,

We have an application connected to an Oracle database. There are for example 10 open cursors in the application. For some reason, the connection with the Oracle database is interrupted (problem here, no worries there) and we see that the cursors on the Oracle db remain open ?

Can these automatically be killed ? Is there a "kill-cursors-that-aren't-used-anymore" parameter or summat ?

Cheers,
