Oracle with VB Questions

Hi,

I'm investigating some development issues about using VB with Oracle, and I've got a couple of questions.

  1. Is the Oracle Data Control that comes with Oracle 8 the fastest way to access Oracle from VB?
  2. Is there a way to make Oracle return a result set a piece at a time? For example, let's populate a grid with the contents of a table that has 20,000 rows. Is there a way to have the data control fetch the first 50 and get more as the user scrolls down (or the program does an explicit fetch, or something like that?

Thanks,
Salaam Yitbarek
