You can't compare them, they are in completely different universes. Oracle is for people who want a serious database. Access is for people who want a nicely organised contact register on their desk top. Oracle is for people who would like to set up and maintain a corporate data repository that contributes to the overall productive protential of an organisation, access is for an individual or small group who wish to manage a small amount of data that does not need to be shared with anyone else. Many of my clients implement an Oracle database as part of a strategy to recover from the mayhem created by the introduction of Access to the enterprise environment...
