Your question doesn't really explain what you are trying to do. Are you simply trying to pass all sqlnet connections via the intermediate host? This isn't because of network filtering because you've indicated that they could connect directly. Is it because of network bandwidth? Is there some middleware running on the intermediate host? Do you want to sniff all the sqlnet traffic as it passes through the intermediate host?

If you need network traffic segregation then you might be able to enable a route between the Solaris boxes and then specify a host route on NT which specifies the intermediate Solaris host as the gateway (router). Of course, the intermediate Solaris host must be configured to forward IP. There should be no tnsnames changes to make on the client as the network configuration resolves the IP route.
