Replication not working

I have created a symmetric replication for testing. It is created at the same server but different database. There is only one replicated object. But when i do a insert, the records at the master def site is not replicated over to the another master site which is another database on the same server. It is not at the deferred transaction as well. Can someone tell me what is the possible step that i have miss.
