32bit oracle 8.0.5 installer hangs on 64bit HPUX-11 (V2200)

Hi,

the installer just does not do anything. The process orainst.cm just is in the system and can not be killed; not even kill -9. There obviously is something wrong in the kernal but what ?

All recommended patches are installed.
oracle support is working on this but no results so far. Did anybody successfully do this install ?

Any helpful tip/comment is very welcome.
