I used to run Oracle on both Netware and NT, and had no problems with either platform. What I did find was that dealing with two platforms was a bit of a pain, so I've consolidated everything onto NT. Why NT? Mostly because the firm I work for has decided to convert their infrastructure from Novell to NT. I'm just staying within the desired architecture.

Consolidating was a good thing, because HP-Unix was recently introduced into the mix. So now I manage Oracle on HP and NT--still two platforms, but better two than three.
