Hello ..
I just want to know how can I prevent my Oracle 6.xx to halt itself ?
Sometime it might because of running out of system memory , So sometime it just halt..when I do a "Top" unix command , I can see all the process is sleep ?
  Why will it happen ?
Can Oracle or unix itself free out the memory , becoz once we encounter ,we had to perform a shutdown abort, I tried immediate but it work for some time only ?
\
I do had some tip on db tunning ? but how can I measure the database when itself is halt ?
The unlucky thing is , my oracle is absolute already Oracle 6.xx , I can get any support from Oracle ( high expense). Received on Fri Nov 20 1998 - 03:16:40 CST
