I planning to move from Oracle 7.3..3 on DEC Alpha Unix to Oracle 8.0.4 on Dec Alpha NT.

I was accessing Oracle 7.3.3 on DEC Unix from PRO*C 21 (Oracle 7 Client) on OS2 warp 3.0.
After moving to Oracle 8.0 on DEC Alpha NT, will my PROC*C 21 application (Oracle 7 client) on OS2 warp 3.0 will work without requiring any changes on OS2 side (if there is no change in IP address & SID for the Oracle Server).

Would appreciate your help/suggestions.

Thanks in advance. Received on Wed Nov 18 1998 - 07:32:17 CST
