Gateway ORA-01591: lock held by in-doubt distributed transaction

I got the following message when I tried to update a record to RDB tables
through the gateway.



  ORA-01591: lock held by in-doubt distributed transaction 3.102.467



Do I need to do something before I do UPDATE or INSERT?
