We are installing a client server system over a wan with 17 replica`s and one server using simple snapshot replication using Oracle 7.3.3. Does anyone know a way of easily monitoring which specific replica are retrieving there snapshots or not. We would like to find a way of sending alarms to the master console for a specific replica which is not replicating?

Does nayone know a source where we can find out in depth how the replication process is conducted (what tables control what functions, what processes are started to do what?)

Thanks for your help.
Dave
