Nope. The bottom line is "John" is not the same as "JOHN" is not the same as "jOHN" is not the same as yada yada yada (in Oracle's eyes).

You could try to get all the data in to the database in uppercase or lowercase using Upper() or Lower() but this is probably not what you're after! Received on Fri Oct 23 1998 - 00:00:00 CDT
