We are running OPS using two RS6000s for one of our configurations. We are running an old release of Oracle (7.2) because of vendor software.

The only special thing we have and is required is to use IBM's HACMP product to control the shared disks. It can be touchy to set up. The system was in place when I came onboard, but based on some other HACMP exersizes, I would expect a couple of days to configure and test.

The OPS works fine, we have accidentally and deliberately failed over several times.
