Oracle Enterprise Manager --- Job-Control

During creation of jobs with OEM Oracle Workgroup Server 7.3.3, we are having the following problems:

The job should run a batch file from a netwrok node. The needed agents are started and user rights are adequate.
After starting the job in OEM „submit„, there are no following notifications if the job scheduling was successful or not
The job is active in the Jobs Manager, but the job does not run and no error messages are found in the Enterprise Manager

Could the problem possibly be a bad Oracle Agent intallation (it is normally self configuring)?

Any insight on this problem would be greatly appreciated.
