Hi,

With Particular Operating systems like UNIX, its advised to reboot the machine one a week at least that is because of the paging and swapping activities associated with this operating system. With NT4.0 It is the same but the frequency depends on:
1)- Method of Managing Paging&swapping (Manual/Windows Managed). 2-Size of Physical Memory "The size of Page file depends on the Size Physical Memory".
3-Size of the Page file.
4-Nature of system activities (Application)
