Problem with Net8

I am using Tango 3.0 application which is automatically connecting using Net8,
but I want to force Sql*Net (like in TOAD where you can force Sql*Net ignoring Net8). Is it just a change in a connect string to database? I have both
Sql*Net and Net8 installed and I want to force to use Sql*Net not Net8. Any suggesions and ideas would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.
