Tuning for 36,000 + objects

Hi,
We are running Oracle 7.3.2.1 with over 36,000 objects. I am seeing 97% of all physical reads are against the system tablespace. So far this was not been a performance problem because of hardware. We are using a HP K570 w/ 6 processors, 2 gigs memory and an EMC sub-system w/ over 1 gig of cache.
What I am wondering is, there seems to be very little info about tuning row_cache_buffers to size of the data dictionary. Does anyone have any insights into this ?

Thanks in advance.
