DATE fields and MS Access

DATE fields when set to blank from MS Access are not set to NULL. They are set to some wierd date that Access doesn't seem to read properly
=> the record cannot be changed again without Access thinking the data
has changed.

This does not occur with the InterSolv driver.

It is reproducable with Oracle 8.0.3 and 8.0.4 on NT with ODBC 8.0.3 and 8.0.4.
