Hi,

as well as the other suggestions, if you're on Unix, you can also relink exp as a single task process. See the manual "Oracle for Unix Performance Tuning Tips".

Quoting from that manual ...

"...its advantage is a much faster process (for a system that is not memory-bound). ... To make the single-task import (impst) and export (expst) executables, use the oracle.mk program which can be found in the $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib directory."

Never tried it ...
