Help need with oracle error defintion

I was trying to find out some more information on an Oracle error that appears frequently enough to annoy.
This is the information I know,

	bash$ oerr ora 01455
	01455, 00000, "converting column overflows integer datatype"


	// *Cause:


	// *Action: 

We get it when trying to run a stored proc using Rogue Wave to access an Oracle 7 dB.

If you could either shed some light on what this error is, or point me in the direction of some useful sites.
