Not really clear what you are asking, but I've seen people use mostly high-end systems with single or dual P-II 300 or higher, 256mg to 1 gig memory, 20 gig hd, possibly raid, NT 4.0, etc, etc. If your apps were running on Sun 4 series, most likely, you have rdbms 7.1.6.2. There will be some (lots?) of tweaking porting this to Oracle 8.
