form 5.0

Guys and Girls help needed

if there anyway to call stored procedures from forms 5.0.

I have got various procedures stored in the database to do specific tasks and what i want to do if to call these procedures from the form using a when-button- pressed trigger

but because the procedure is not local to the form it wont compile can anyone shed some light on my problem
