Hi

Iam facing a problem in setting up my Recovery Manager . The environment is :

    Windows NT Server 4.0
    Oracle 8.0.4.0.0 Enterprise Edition.

I am having two databases 'orcl ' and 'orc0' on the same server. My OEM repository is on orcl and I have created a user rman/rman with recovery catalag and sysdba privilege on the same database and Iam using orc0 as my target database.
I have created an NT user called rman and given it the user rights for
'Log on as a batch job'.

Still when Iam trying to register the database orc0 in my catalog repository through OEM, backup manager, My job fails with an error
'Failed to authenticate user'.

Can anybody suggest me some solution ?

Thanks in advance.
