Try PL/SQL Programming by Scott Urman Published by Osborne McGraw-Hill. ISBN 0-07-882176-2.
My version was published in 1996.
Oracle A Beginners Guide by Michael Abbey & Michael Corey from the same publishe gives a painless intro. The book covers Oracle 7.x. There is an 8.x version
