Clinical Programmer

The Cambridge Group is a recruiting firm specialized in placing Clinical Information Systems, Data Management and Biostatistics professionals, nationwide. In accordance with tremendous industry growth, several of our clients have a primary need to fill clinical programming positions in the Northeast, California, Washington, Michigan and Illinois.

As a participant in a global project team, the individual will maintain and develop programs for analysis of clinical trial data. This involves writing data capture and edit check programs and production of reports for FDA submissions. In addition, this person will work to help establish standard operating procedures for the coding, documentation and validation of programs and procedures to be used within the entire biometrics community. This position offers an opportunity to enhance technical skills and lead projects and people on a technical level. Extensive knowledge of either SAS or Oracle with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting is required. Exposure to Visual Basic, Powerbuilder or MS Access is a plus. Excellent communication skills are essential.
