Company 'A' is currently considering a trigger based auditing ( just update and delete ) of an oracle HR application. Many of the application tables have associated triggers as supplied by oracle as part of HR.

Proposal 1. If there is an existing 'HR' Update or Delete triggers associated with a table then leave them and create another bespoke update /delete trigger with required audit code.

Proposal 2 - All audit records to be written to 1 Table consiting of 250 Columns ( eeek! )

System users could be as high as 2000, tables/ triggers in excess of 100
