Accvio from PRO C on sample2.pc

I'm trying to run pro*c on the demo file sample2.pc supplied by oracle and I'm getting an access violation error on running it.

I'm using oracle 7.3.2.3.2 on VMS 7.1-1H1

Seeing as how it's a demonstration program, shouldn't it have compiled with no problems?

Can anyone give me a hand?
