Software QA Manager

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Software QA Manager to lead the team responsible for testing our leading edge knowledge management application. As a "hands on" manager, you will develop test plans, help design tests, and participate in creating test tools when appropriate. You will work closely with the development team on resolving software defects and establishing the quality standard at our comapny.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in QA is required, including 2+ years managing a software QA team in a commercial environment
• Completion of at least 2 full product cycles is required.
• Products must be client-server in nature.
• Experience producing test plans, writing test tools/harnesses, and executing tests is required
• Experience in performance benchmarking, system level troubleshooting, and stress testing is required.
• Knowledge of Java, Internet protocols, CORBA, and SQL are all pluses
• Strong UNIX and NT system administrator skills preferred
• Knowledge of test automation tools a plus (QA Partner, MSTEST, SQA) preferred.
• BS in CS or equivalent experience is required.
