On startup, I get the following error:

$./svrmgrl

Oracle Server Manager Release 2.3.3.0.0 - Production

Oracle7 Server Release 7.3.3.0.0 - Production Release With the distributed, replication and Spatial Data options PL/SQL Release 2.3.3.0.0 - Production

SVRMGR> connect internal
Connected to an idle instance.
SVRMGR> startup
ORACLE instance started.

Total System Global Area 4568736 bytes
Fixed Size 57136 bytes
Variable Size 4093808 bytes

Redo Buffers 8192 bytes
Database mounted.
ORA-01534: rollback segment 'R01' doesn't exist

And then the database doesn't actually start.

What is causing this? Any suggestions for how to correct it?

This is a 7.3.3 instance running on an SGI O2 running IRIX 6.3

Thanks,
Kevin
