Oracle database insert of a blob image by a C and VB programing methodes.

I'm currently working with Oracle 7.3.4 and Oracle OLE objects 2.x and I'm
unable too insert an image into a Oracle table and retrieve it back to it's
original format using method such as append & get CHUNK as posted in Oracle
Help.



Does anyone have any experience in this area of inserting & retrieving
images from the database using non-ODBC or OLE objects.



Please provide any suggestions or opinions regarding this topic.
