What is "Diana" error in Oracle?

Recently, I was attempting to reference a table (SELECT...) when I was prompted by an Oracle (v7.3) message as follows:

"ORA-04028 cannot generate diana for object SCHEMANAME.TABLENAME"

I have checked a number of error manuals and have no idea what this is in reference to. I happened only a few times and was never to be seen again.

Has anyone ran into this or have an idea what this is in reference to?
