We moved our Oracle 7.3.2 from one AIX box (4.1.4) to another one (4.1.5). We ran rootpre.sh to install the kernel extensions required by ORACLE Server relinking, setup Asynch I/O, etc. Then we ran "dbstart", it started properly. Then we ran "lsnrctl start", we got the some error message and it seems it still looking for the information in the old host. I checked the ORacle .dbf files, and found out the old hostnames are actually embedded in the Oracle .dbf files. Is there anyway to change the hostname ? Thanks in advance.
