Manager Data Warehousing

Southeast USA Location
Strong knowledge in Data Warehousing. Someone to lead the conversion from old mainframe legacy system to a data warehousing environment. Knowledge of Oracle, Informix or Sybase a plus.

Oracle Data Warehouse DBA

The individual filling this position will provide the primary technical support for the company’s data warehouse databases. The responsibilities of the job will include data modeling, database design, implementation, support, data loading, performance tuning and some development activities. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience with relational databases and at least 1 year of that experience should be with Oracle’s Pro*C, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader and Developer/2000. Experience with Oracle’s Designer/2000 is a definite plus. In addition, candidates should have extensive experience with database design and should have at least 1 year experience in data modeling. Preferred candidates will have experience working with data warehouse applications and tools. Must be willing to participate in on-call rotation. Some overtime and weekend work will be required.
