Oracle performs just as well on NT as it does on Unix provided you boost the CPU and add more RAM. You will want scripting tools for NT, which you can get from http://www.cygnus.com/misc/gnu-win32/ this gives you the bash shell and a heap of GNU commands for NT to make it more unix-like.
