Hi,

I currently have an Oracle DB 7.1.6 on HP-UX B.10.20

I have 2 directories that store my data files, and they are 95% and 100% full respectively:

/dev/vg06/lvol1 2456393 2101224 109529 95% /finprod/fm2
/dev/vg04/lvol1 2857137 2561537 9886 100% /finprod/fm1

I have been told that increasing the disk space so that they are less than 85% full will improve the performance of the Application. (The current performance is rather slow).

Can someone give me a hint?

Thanks,
