There is an additional Oracle gateway available:   Oracle Transparent Gateway for DRDA

DRDA is IBM's native remote access method to DB2. In this case the listener and gateway (pseudo Oracle server) runs on an an IBM AIX box and uses LU6.2 to access DDF.

We have used this for several years.
