How stable is Oracle 8?

Hello everyone,

I am going to upgrade a client's server from Oracle 7.3 to Oracle 8.0 (NT4).

I wonder how stable is the product if are there any particular problems one can think of when the database of around 20GB being ported?

I am also interested to know if there are any problems could be experienced with the older client software. Should SQL net be upgraded on the client PCs? (I can't do it as there are several 7.3 servers).

Any reference/information is appreciated.
