What platform are you talking about.

If MSDOS 3.x-6.x, then you need to use the correct memory manager (I forget which one, EMS/XMS/DPMI) to load the software. Some early versions of O6 would not work under Windows without special tuning. I haven't tried O6 under MSDOS7(Win95). I rant O6 on a 6mhz IBM AT 286 with 2m of memory on MSDOS 3.1. Matter of fact, I still have the machine and the software, but I haven't done anything on it in years other than use it for a print spooler.

Other factors---how big have you set your SGA and the shmmem parms (if in Unix?)
