hi

(if you are using a unix server and not a NT server)

I am doing a similar thing for my company what I have found trying to print from unix to an NT server is that using lpd/lpr I can get portrait printouts but not landscape ( I have not done enough investigation into this yet). What you end up with is a hybrid, NT printing for windows printing i.e MSOffice etc and Unix network printing (using jetadmin for unix) on your server for Oracle Apps.

Basically Apps printing is running on your unix server via the concurrent manager (the best place for it) for this you need Apps to be setup for it i.e. the correct drivers and styles setup within Apps (Note ring Oracle support because FSG printing and standard reports are not compatible in terms of drivers etc.).

I know this is not enough but I hope it helps, if you need more email me.

PS if you get landscape working let me know :-))
