So, what's wrong? It really takes a long time before sql+, Navigator or any other tool shows the first records. A select * from x on a 10000 record table makes a pause of almost a minute, on 300000 it doesn't seem to come again.

If you say that isn't normal behaviour (in Personal Oracle lite), what could be the problem?
