HELP: PL/SQL keyword as table name

Hi,

I'm doing some conversions from existing table and one of them is called 'if' !!!

I can access to it from the sqlplus prompt, but I get an error if I put the access inside an PL/SQL procedure (i.e. 'select * from if;' complains about having found an if instead of the table name). I also tried to access the table prepending the user name ( test.if ) but with no result.

I know I could rename the table, but I would like to avoid it, because it's automatically generated and used by somebody else.

Anybody can help ?

thanks,

        Raffaele
