Flex Field Question

We would like to find a way to use a flex-field to validate data in an Oracle Forms screen. In particularWe would like to add such a flex-field to the Enter Address screen in Order Entry. We need a way to limit users from entering more than 35 characters (shipping limit) into the address lines. When the user enters 40 characters in address1 for example, this ingenious little flex-field would get mad and not let the user leave the screen until either the problem is corrected or the edits are cleared. This we could use wherever we need to validate data on one of Oracle's forms, but don't want to customize the form. Received on Fri Mar 06 1998 - 00:00:00 CST
