A newbie idea:

• rename the datafile in your tablespace: ALTER TABLESPACE <tablespace> RENAME <old datafile name> TO <new datafile name> This clause associates the tablespace with the new file rather than the old one. Next step:
• create at operating system level an empty file with the new name that you specified previously.

I don't know if this works, but try it out, and tell me if it helped.
