Check for a table, then drop

I've driven myself nuts for a sufficiently long time trying to come up with a simple PL/SQL block that will check for a table's existence, then drop it if it's there. I can do this in MS SQL Server in 2 lines, there must be an easy way to do it in Oracle7.

If any of you Oracle gurus out there can help me out I'd surely appreciate it!
