US-TX- ORACLE DBA NEEDED

Browning-Ferris Industries, Inc. (BFI) one of the largest waste management companies in the world, currenly has an immediate opening for an Oracle DBA in our West Houston headquarters.

ORACLE DBA World Class Oracle DBA with a minimum of five years experience administering Oracle databases in a distributed environment. •Strong knowledge of database design, PL/SQL, triggers, entity relationship diagrams, creation of logical and physical data models from logical required.
•Experience in high availability environments (parallel servers), UNIX, and the UNIX command line are stongly preferred. •Other knowledge should include SQL code, and an understanding of the issues faced by the Client/Server application developer, the ability to teach developers how to use SQL properly for best performance, and creation of Data Warehouses and DSS.

Salary to the low 70's
