How to start an open Oracle form from other Windows Application

Oracle specialists,

We have a small knowlegde problem while developping a new call-centre application. We want to call an Oracle application from a call-centre application. So far no problem, we use the parameter option from forms while starting the Oracle application. Sending information back tot the call-centre application goes with DDE from Oracle forms.

The real issue: most of the end-users have their Oracle applications open for the whole day. How can we start the correct Oracle form with the foreign (but the same) customer ID or phone number from the call-centre application. I know we can do it with a small table in between and a requery from that table from the Oracle application! But is there an easier way to do the trick...
