Responsibilities: Client is looking for a seasoned person with a wide variety of experience. This company is one of the fastest growing companies in the country and specifically in Dallas, Texas. The company recently implemented Progress as the corporate database system and has plans to develop multiple proprietary software all connected to Progress. This database administrator will work with very high data volumes which will grow exponentially as the company completes the transition.

Required Skills: Strong Progress DBA experience, can deal with the following issues: difference in database schemas,
writing scripts to reorganize tables or rebuild indexes, complete database reorganizations, performance tuning, setting buffers and locks on tables, writing and updating performance

Preferred Skills: Progress DBA

Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
