Sales Representative-Software Consulting

This company specializes in the delivery of high end professional software services that leverage a company’s existing investments in Information Technology. With technology partners such as, Sun Microsystems, Sequent, The Vantive Corporation, Microsoft, and Hewlett Packard, the company is on track for continued growth and expansion. Our client has been active since 1991 and has established itself as one of the premiere systems integrators in the Silicon Valley, assisting clients with all levels of software integration, from single vendor systems to complete and more complex heterogeneous implementations. At this time, the company is planning a Public Offering in the next 12 months and this is, without a doubt, time to get on board!

Position Summary:
A Sales Representative at this company is more than your average “Rep.” The person in this position will be responsible for selling projects, solutions, value added services and developing long term strategic relationships at the project level.

Duties & Responsibilities:
A Sales Representative will be expected to develop and generate sales of our client's solutions and services. In addition, he/she will:
-Develop potential sales leads through prospecting and lead generation.
-Interact with the technical team to ensure delivery of solutions and
overall client satisfaction.
-Be responsible for account management and growth through all levels of
the account.
-Be responsible for presentations, written proposals, responding to
RFPs, etc.

Work Experience:
The Sales Representative will have two years plus experience selling a wide variety of intangible technology solutions at all levels of customer accounts. This individual will take 100% ownership in all account management issues. The successful candidate ideally has played a key role in helping to rapidly grow a service oriented organization. He/she will have consistently reached and surpassed their quotas and will have exemplary sales skills with natural talent. The first choice of technology experience would be from a software solutions company or a software consulting company placing contract professionals.

The individual that we seek for this position will have a strong entrepreneurial spark with the desire to develop and nurture long term strategic relationships with all potential and existing clients. He/she will be a strong, energetic sales professional with a strong sense of accountability and integrity.
He/she will be highly motivated, competitive, and attracted to a challenging opportunity within a high growth rganization. He/she will have demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced , unstructured environment where strong organizational skills are a must.
He/she will possess excellent written and verbal skills and the personal integrity and professional presence and credibility to effectively represent the company in its mission.
